The rarest color is probably bronze and rarest crystal upgrade is either ankarres sapphire or hurrikaine. So i’m currently playing kotor 2 and i have just aquired all the parts to construct my lightsaber. In kotor2 i use whatever saber color matches the jedi path i choose.

So i'm currently playing kotor 2 and i have just aquired all the parts to construct my lightsaber. After going back to the jedi base and talking to zhar, i went to the workbench to upgrade my lightsaber. I wanted to play k2 in 'canon' and in the conversation with atton, i didn't know what color to choose to get the cyan crystal, so i decided to go with blue.
Until I Got Mantle And Guardian I Used Red And Purple Though.
